Design Videos
The principle "Sell the Sizzle, not the Steak" applies to Home Interiors now more than ever. Today's savvy client wants to be entertained, to be emotionally captured, and to know that you are the best person to entrust with their home. Through the vision of a gifted visual storyteller, Design Videos have the potential to reveal your design vision, and engage the prospective client's emotions, more effectively than any other medium. Essential ingredients include the director's sensibility to three dimensional space, a well crafted script, the appropriate voice, and "Before Photos" or other still shots to combine with the video portion, as well as an agreeable client.

Video has the ability to actively zoom in on details, capture the movement of candlelight, the drama of accent lighting, and the transformative power of a Before and After story. Video can be more effective in a small space than still photos, and in a grand interior vista, can enable the details to be seen as well as the overall impression. Videos help make you website "sticky" - causing visitors to linger. Posting your video on content sites such as YouTube may also entice new visitors to your primary location on the web, and gives you another web presence, to improve search ranking on the web.

Effective storytelling requires more time than a typical 30 or 60 second commercial, so the prices below reflect the longer length of these types of videos. Pricing may be adjusted if the length of the video exceeds the limits listed below. Choose the package most appropriate to your current needs.

The Process
Masterworks Window Fashions & Design partners with Twin Mask Productions to offer complete package options for your design videos. An initial consultation reviews the scope of the project, any "before" or "during" photos you may have, and logistical considerations, in order to determine the goals as well as pricing. "Before Photos" are particularly helpful to the cinematographers, and should be made available prior to the video shoot for planning purposes. A 50% deposit is required at the time of contract signing.

Once a script is approved, the videography session may be scheduled. At the time of the video shoot, an additional 25% is paid, and the video moves to the editing phase. Final edits include one review and "tweaking" of the finished product. The balance is due upon your approval of the final version and prior to shipment of the final edited DVD with your logo imprint using Lightscribe technology included.

Please allow approximately eight weeks after photo shoot for the editing and revision process. Exact times will vary according to the complexity of the project. Rush deadlines may incur extra fees, and must be approved prior to acceptance of the contract.

The process for Design Portfolios is more streamlined, which is also reflected in the pricing of this category. The Portfolio projects include a phone consultation, our online review of photos for the video in light of your goals for the video, photo scanning services if needed, and upon agreement on the scope of a project, prepayment in full. Delivery on a Portfolio video will be quicker as well, four weeks or less from date of receipt of photos on the Basic Portfolio, and for the Enhanced Portfolio videos, approximately 6 weeks or less, depending upon whether the music is supplied or we supply it.

Video Project Categories in Depth
All packages include the initial consultation session, and DVDs with Lightscribe logo imprint of the final video product. Prices for each Video project are found on our fee schedule.

Ultimate Custom Video Project
Use your imagination! We have the ability to do much larger or multi location projects, even beyond the scope of the Premiere Videos, but these Custom Videos require a custom quote, and are quoted only after the initial consultation. A consultation fee of $200, applicable to your order, would be payable at the time of the consultation. Custom script, up to two revisions to final product, and 12 DVDs with custom Lightscribe imprint of your logo included.

Premiere Video Project
This versatile package assembles multiple camera video team and requires much more equipment, in order to deliver a video of much greater scope, depth and precision. Suitable for a large multi room location or commercial property, such as hospitality projects, or custom home construction, with up to 5 rooms included in the video, or fewer rooms in greater depth; or for a 2 location project in which you would like to shoot both the client's location, whether a residential or commercial property, and your studio design process; or to shoot on location with interior and exterior video stories.

Two days of videography must be allocated, with 3 day access to locations on a day prior to and throughout the shoot. Custom script, up to two revisions to final product, and 8 DVDs with custom Lightscribe imprint of your logo included. Choices of music included, or $500 credit if you supply your own public domain music. The specifics of the project may require additional expense not included in the base project pricing, but you will be advised as soon as we anticipate something out of the ordinary would be required. (Scaffolding, for instance, if needed for a video project, would be an example of an extraordinary expense not included.)

Redesign Video
For the Interior Redesigner, nothing is more dramatic than a video time capsule of your makeover in a day! We suggest that our video team visit the home the day before the Redesign, and stay on site the entire next day, filming the client's departure, portions of the Redesign during the day, and the dramatic revelation of the room to the client at the end of the day. A Redesign video may also tell the Before and After story without the client on camera, if preferred. Up to four minutes. Custom script, one revision to final product, and 3 DVDs with custom Lightscribe imprint of your logo included. Suitable for website, group presentations, and individual viewing.

Deluxe Video Project
Suitable for website use, or for client introduction to your design process and expertise, the Deluxe Video consists of a one day video project, with up to 4 hours of video shooting in one room, targeted to show clients your signature style and approach, or to show a representative project in more depth than a simple photo is able to do. Custom script, one revision to final product, and 2 DVDs with custom Lightscribe imprint of your logo included. Approximate length of video 2-2 ½ minutes.

Also available in a Deluxe Expanded version, with two rooms, one location, one day, up to 7 hours on the video shoot. The completed video will also be an approximate length of 2- 2 ½ minute.

Enhanced Video Portfolio
Using photos you supply, our editing team color corrects them for optimized viewing in video format, then combines them with interesting transitions from one photo to the next, synched to music. Up to 20 photos and your logo at the title or ending credits included. Choices of: Fluid Serenity, Geometric Precision, or Editor's Choice, for fade techniques used. Each photo will be viewed for approximately four seconds. The interaction between music and video is a Twin Mask Productions specialty.May use public domain music you supply, or with a choice of music we supply for an additional fee. 2 DVDs with custom Lightscribe imprint of your logo included.

Basic Video Portfolio
Using photos you supply, our editing team combines them with interesting transitions from one photo to the next. Up to 20 photos and your logo at the title or ending credits included. Choices of: Fluid Serenity, Geometric Precision, or Editor's Choice, for fade techniques used. No music in background. 2 DVDs with custom Lightscribe imprint of your logo.

All other videos include at no charge public domain music which you supply, or for an additional fee, we will supply a choice of music.

Additional surcharges apply for these additional services

Professional still photography may also be coordinated with the video project, but stills should be completed and on hand prior to the video shoot except in the case of the Redesign project. Photography expense is quoted on a per project basis, if you would prefer that we coordinate the two aspects of the visual storytelling for your project.

All except the Basic Video Portfolio package may use public domain music which you supply, or for an additional fee, we will supply music choices.

Terms: Cash, checks, Discover, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express accepted. 50% deposit required prior to the script being written. Another 25% is due the day of the video shoot, and the final 25% due after approval of the final version and prior to shipping your DVDs. After final payment, the Video file may also be emailed to you using YouSendIt, should you require a speedier delivery, with DVDs to follow by mail.
